A Visit To the Adventure Theatre In Glen Echo, Maryland

It was quite a cool afternoon in Northern Virginia a few weeks ago, and our family was in need of an outing to get us out of the house. We try very hard to cultivate an atmosphere of literature, art and culture in our home, but with three children that can prove to be expensive - especially in the Northern Virginia area. We are always on the lookout for quality yet inexpensive ways to achieve this, and we found it upon our visit to the Adventure Theater's production of James and the Giant Peach in Glen Echo, Maryland.

A View of the Carousel at Sunset Right Outside the Adventure Theater - Would be a fun summer outing, too!

The Company Uses Professional Actors and Students From Their Musical Theater Classes in Productions

Not only were the sets and production quality top notch, but the singing and acting were on par with many Broadway acts we've seen in much more expensive venues. The children loved the performance. With it being such a small venue with intimate seating, the actors come right up into the audience, which simply thrilled the children! If you're need of a fun, high quality, but inexpensive way to spend a great afternoon with the little ones in your life, give the Adventure Theater a try! Have fun creating those experiences and memories with your own family and as always - Happy Designing!
