Let's face it - not many of us have champagne budgets. Flowers can be expensive, but there are ways to save, if you can simply plan ahead. Always go with what is in season, not only will they look nicer, but in season flowers are generally less expensive than their out of season counterparts. Carnations can be a great styling tool that fits most budgets and you can still achieve that sophisticated look when you pair them in large numbers and with the right flowers. I love the way the the pink blooms spill over the square wood vase here. The pink, blue and gold chevron ribbon add a touch of modernity that gives a cool contrast to the rustic looking wood.
