This is one of my favorite flips, yet! A small brush, painter's tape, a can of FLAT acrylic paint, & some frosted window spray achieved this adorable fixture redo. The light on our back porch was sorely lacking when we moved in. At some point, I would love to replace it, but with all the expenses of moving in and not really finding what I wanted to replace it with left me at a stand still. It was so ugly that I really had to do something quick. The fixture itself was rusting, so I taped off the vinyl underneath the base plate with painter's tape & removed the glass panes. I painted the entire fixture with flat black acrylic paint, which gave it more of an iron look. I painted the glass panes with frosted glass spray paint to diffuse some of the light. Once I put it all back together, I was left with a beautifully updated look for my outdoor light that literally cost me $7.00!
